Hardly one year past the first time mother took the baby for a walk, cuddled up inside her motherly embrace and now the baby is trying to walk on his/her own. With the first attempt, the baby fumbles with the footing and realizes, even with the very least of knowledge at that age, that it is going to hurt badly. He/she blinks eyes fervently for a moment, ready to react to the pain that’s due. But none came. He/She turns back, sees father smiling will all love, holding onto him/her. “And care. He caught me”, he/she thinks. And with renewed zeal and with newly discovered help, the baby tries again – tender footprints growing into prominence.
