Get, Set, Forgive – Haiku #19

.

.

On your marks,

On your knees,  get, set,

” forgive me “

~ ~ ~

P.S : don’t go for a deep meaning, i wrote it in humor and im not good at humor. 😀

i feel like once the race is over, all those runners who acted cruel, selfish during the course of race,

will be on their knees at the end of it,

just as they were on their marks at the start of the race,

and ask for forgiveness,

will they get it?

yes.

why?

to change them.

do they change?

watch the next race.

not quite deep, actually. 😀

This post is an entry in Haiku Challenge for April 2012 at Haiku Heights. The prompt being “forgive”.

  1. Reminds me of my childhood sports days, on your marks, get ready, and then there was the starting pistol. After that everything was forgotten in the race. Winner took all. Nothing to forgive.
